Registered & deputy managers

Less reworking reports. More time for your team.

Consistent summary structures help managers spend less time rewriting and more time reviewing accuracy, coaching staff and improving practice. Bring records, outstanding tasks and sign-off into one working view.

  • A connected team
Today’s priorities

Start with what needs you today.

See recording gaps, overdue checks and outstanding activity in a shared working view.

Bring gaps, overdue checks and outstanding activity together. Managers spend less time collecting updates and more time supporting staff and following up on care. A shared view makes review easier; your team still checks the situation and decides what it needs.

  • A shared picture of the current shift
  • Overdue checks and recording gaps surfaced
  • A control centre for managers and authorised staff

Summaries & reports

Keep reviews moving.

Your team has recorded the care. I’ll help you bring it together for review.

I bring daily records into a consistent draft structure, reducing time spent assembling, rewriting and reformatting reports. Support workers avoid repeating notes; managers focus on accuracy and context; directors get clearer information across homes. Your team reviews and signs off every summary.

  • Consistent structure, with the child’s individual context
  • Less drafting, reformatting and repeated admin
  • Human accuracy checks, review and sign-off

The next shift

Give every shift a shared picture.

Bring recent care, outstanding tasks and important context together for the team coming in.

Bring the shift’s recorded activity, outstanding tasks and things to watch into one place. The next team can get their bearings, then ask about anything that needs a conversation.

  • A view of recent care and shift activity
  • Outstanding checks and tasks made visible
  • Context that stays with the child’s record

How it works

A clear path from first look to first shift.

  1. 01

    Show us your day

Bring your records, reporting needs and the questions your team asks most often. We’ll walk through the relevant workflows.

  2. 02

    Plan the move together

Agree home setup, access, existing records and training. Onboarding is a one-time £299 fee for your organisation.

  3. 03

    Get your team ready

Check the setup and imported information, practise the key tasks and agree when each home is ready to start.

Your questions, answered.

The practical details, before you decide.

Is this useful for deputy managers too?

Yes. Access can reflect the responsibilities a person has in the home. We will work through manager and deputy workflows, including review and sign-off, during setup.

Can the team use Welma on a phone?

Welma works in a modern browser, including on a phone or tablet. Ask us to demonstrate your team’s devices and confirm the current availability of native apps during your walkthrough.

How would we get started?

We start with your homes, records and current ways of working. Together we agree the setup, data import, training and rollout plan, including what your team needs to review before going live.

How much staff time could Welma save?

Our working estimate is around 70% less time on routine documentation and reporting. Actual savings vary by role, task and workflow. Compare a typical task, including accuracy checks and sign-off, with your current process during a walkthrough.

Let’s make room for more care.

Bring a typical summary or reporting task. We’ll show how more consistent records can save staff time, reduce repeated admin costs and give your team more room to focus on care.
